The Welcome Baby program is offered to all first-time families in Sheboygan County. In the future, our goal is to offer ALL Sheboygan County families a Welcome Baby visit.

Program Details

Our staff is so excited to welcome your new baby into this community and support your family in anyway that they can!

A Resource Specialist meets with all first-time parents at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital before families are discharged from the hospital after having their baby. Resource Specialists also meet with families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and families that may have additional questions about community resources.

The purpose of this visit is to provide community resource information, as well as connect families to Parents as Teachers (PAT) home visiting program at the Family Resource Center. As a community, we feel it is important that families are supported as they start this new journey.
